When the 1964 building at Fauquier High School became too small and outdated for the growing population, Fauquier County Public Schools decided to build a new 87,000 square-foot addition connected to the existing school. Valid Electric was awarded this impressive project to provide modern lighting, power, fire alarm, low voltage, and access control systems. The project was so well received that the GC and Owner awarded us two additional phases of the project, including the renovation of an existing theatre.

Valid Electric was excited and humbled to be chosen to take on the complete electrical renovation of the historic Maloney Hall at Catholic University. Although the framework was intact and strong, the building had closed due to environmental concerns and aging infrastructure. The renovation included a completely new power distribution system fed from a new exterior pad-mounted medium voltage transformer. Additionally, we provided extensive lighting and power upgrades throughout the existing building. This building now houses the Busch School of Business.
Fire Alarm and ENS Upgrades (Multiple Projects)

Since 2011, Valid Electric has been a preferred contractor of choice for performing extensive upgrades to the outdated fire alarm systems across Montgomery College campuses. Most of the project work was completed at night while the school remained occupied during the day. The basic scope for each building included a new fire alarm system, devices and wiring, as well as mass notification message boards. The new system was installed and inspected before the old system was demolished and removed.
